Canada slaps sanctions against Russian legal entities, individuals

WASHINGTON, Nov 10 (PRIME) -- Canada has imposed new sanctions against Russian legal entities including Izvestiya daily and REN TV television channel, as well as individuals, the state’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Friday.

The list of the individuals includes former Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov, Program Director of the International Discussion Club Valdai and Dean of the international relations faculty at the Moscow State University of Foreign Affairs Andrei Sushentsov, and political scientist Dmitry Suslov.
